Heart notes of rose and jasmine add sensuality and vividness to this scent. Eventually, you can smell trails of vetiver and patchouli.

Overall, The result was a seductive blend that’s both modern and refined. Today, the composition is available in a multitude of irresistible interpretations, for every moment of your day. It’s time to get familiar with the Coco Mademoiselle family that’s full of contrasts and nuances.

Coco Mademoiselle Intense Vs Coco Mademoiselle

Coco Mademoiselle Intense is, as ‘Intense’ suggests, a stronger blend. In comparison with Coco Mademoiselle, it has a more vibrant amber and patchouli touch. One could also detect some extra roses. Overall, they are very similar to one another.

Chanel Coco Vs Chanel Coco Mademoiselle

We all know that Chanel Coco and Coco Mademoiselle are closely related. Chanel Coco uses higher contrast elements making a nice harmonious blend of deep warm and spicy notes. Some of these include amber, resins, and sandalwood. Personally, I like this blend more. However, you might think differently. Coco Mademoiselle, however, is more refreshing and welcoming.

What I don’t like about Chanel Coco Mademoiselle? (Cons)

  • Too popular: Chanel Coco Mademoiselle is one of the most famous scents you can hear of. It means that many people around you might have the same fragrance. So, if you are someone who wants a scent that is unique to herself, then look out for other options.
  • Price Point: Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, like many other high-end fragrances, is quite expensive. So, if you want a more affordable fragrance, check out some of these classic fragrances for under $25.
  • Personal Preference: Coco Mademoiselle has a unique citrusy opening to itself. Therefore, I always say that it’s not a no-brainer buy. Moreover, some people believe that it has a little artificial touch to it. So, do test it from your nearest perfume store if you purchase it offline.

Top Notes- A Citrusy Harmony

Coco Mademoiselle opens up with an exotic and sensual citrusy punch. Top notes include orange, orange blossom, mandarin orange, bergamot, and Sicilian lemon. Fresh and zesty oranges deliver an invigorating and vibrant welcome.

Bergamot has a bright and spicy aroma that adds a lively touch to the top notes of the fragrance. Sicilian lemon, on the same hand, adds a tangy and refreshing vibe.

Heart Notes- Floral Symphony

The heart of this fragrance revolves around creating a floral symphony. Rose and jasmine dominate but trails of ylang-ylang and mimosa also play with one’s olfactory nerves. Rose is a classic floral note that introduces softness and femininity to the scent while jasmine adds depth and sensuality.

Jasmine is a powerful floral note that can be found in many fragrances. It’s famous amongst perfumers were adding an intoxicating touch and richness to the scent.

Base Notes- Adding some Depth

White Musk, Patchouli, Vetiver, Vanilla, Opoponax, and Tonka bean form the base notes of Coco Mademoiselle. Patchouli, in particular, is one of my favorite components of a scent. It adds a warm and strong foundation to the scent, enhancing its longevity.

White musk, on the other hand, adds a lasting skin-like warmth to the scent. Other notes also serve a great deal. For example, vanilla adds sweetness and gourmand richness, while Vetiver adds a smoky/spicy characteristic to the base.

Longevity and Projection

I was quite impressed with the longevity and projection of Coco Mademoiselle. The scent lasts on my skin for around 8 hours. However, this depends upon individual body chemistry. But, still, the fragrance lasts on the skin anywhere between 6 to 8 hours.

As far as projection is concerned, the scent has a moderate to strong projection. It leaves behind a fine trail without being too overpowering. Therefore, you won’t leave others or yourself with a headache.

Box and Bottle Design

Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel has iconic packaging that reflects the aesthetic theme of Chanel. I get a comforting vibe upon seeing the bottle. The perfume comes in classic Chanel packaging and bottle design. However, it is the pinkish scent inside the fragrance that leaves gives you that minimalistic vibe.

If I had to dedicate two words to this bottle, then they would be ‘feminine’ and ‘minimalistic’.

Coco Mademoiselle is one of the most versatile fragrances I have come across so far. It has an EDP version, an EDT version, and an Intense version. I would really recommend you to wear the EDP version in winter.

However, it may be too overpowering in summer. But, the EDT scent is an awesome pick for the hotter months.

Parting Thoughts

Overall, I like Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel. Its versatility, sensuality, depth, and elegance are truly remarkable. The signature Chanel DNA is also what makes its sales rocket every year.
