Wind Flowers is another great work of Oliver Creed. The inspiration behind this fragrance was “the strength of modern femininity” and it was launched in 2021. This scent is described as fresh, floral, amber, opulent, and dynamic.

Reading its composition might trick you into thinking it is another minimal floral scent. However,  this scent isn’t floral if that is what you are looking for. It is much more than that-beautiful, magical, ambitiously feminine, and exquisite.

Creed Wind Flowers Review

Is there a similarity between Creed Wind Flowers and Coco Madam?

Yes. The initial opening of Wind Flowers reminded me of Coco Madam by Chanel but with obvious differences. Wind Flowers has a more airy vibe to it whereas Coco Madam is comparatively woodsy and amber.

There’s everything in this composition, peaches, white and powdery flowers, honey-like Praline, and musk; and it’s all perfectly blended. There is harmony in the combination of the notes and it is a safe choice.

Top Notes

Top notes for Wind Flowers include Indian Jasmine, Tunisia or Orange Blossom, and Peach, responsible for the sweet floral opening of the perfume. The top notes set the vibe for this scent_ gentle, bright, and sweet.

The orange blossom keeps the initial fragrance sweet and pretty whereas the peach adds slight tartness to balance the sweetness from the florals. The opening of WIND FLOWERS might remind you of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. However, Chanel Coco Mademoiselle is sharp whereas Wind Flowers is very smooth.

Middle Notes

The mighty and powdery white florals; Jasmine Sambac, Tuberose Absolute, and Rose Centifolia; make up the heart of the scent. This combination doesn’t sound unique but you will feel elegant when you wear it.

This scent is one of the most wearable tuberose scents. It develops into a soapier version as it progresses and smells natural, and realistic. And this beautiful scent stays the way it is until you wash it off; does not smell synthetic.

I smell the elegance, class, and femininity of this perfume thanks to these powdery florals.

Base Notes

The warm base consisting of Musk, Orange Blossom, Praline, Sandalwood, and Iris brings life to this luminous femme fragrance. Adding texture and depth to the otherwise sweet and floral fragrance, the base and the top/middle notes are perfectly balanced and work tremendously well together.

Rich and woodsy musk along with the milky gourmand scent of Praline round off the simplistic composition. These notes are what is largely left behind and linger long after the perfume has stayed on your skin.

Pros

  • Classy, modern, and high-quality scent
  • Highly long-lasting fragrance
  • The beautiful and elegant bottle design
  • Natural and photorealistic floral scent

Cons

  • The strong white floral scent may be too mature for some
  • Unpleasantly sharp opening
  • Contains patchouli notes which may not appeal to everyone
  • Expensive

Longevity and Projection of Creed Wind Flowers

The fragrance is entirely a subjective arena. Its performance can differ from person to person mainly due to differences in body chemistries which causes the perfume to evaporate more quickly from the skin. Overall, Wind Flowers has a moderate sillage but impressive longevity.

It Stays on the skin for 8-12 hours and I kept getting wafts of the aromatic dry-down from time to time. As for the projection of this perfume, it is not overly strong and the scent is soft and noticeable.

Wind Flowers is comparatively stronger and long-lasting than Spring Flower, another loved perfume by Creed.

When to wear your Creed Spring Flower?

Wind Flowers is a great choice for the spring/summer season as it is fresh and gives off light and bright vibes. It exudes grace and femininity and is perfect to be worn in the daytime. You could don this perfume on a weekend brunch or when you’re running errands. It’s dominantly floral, making it appropriate to wear on any occasion if it’s not overdone.

This perfume could even be your ideal wedding day perfume. Especially, if you like indulging in a floral fruity, gourmand symphony.

You could even make it to work wearing this fragrance where you need to be assertive. Perfume works like magic, it can change your mood! You can also wear it at night time on a date, family dinner, etc.

In case you are looking for a more strong floral fragrance, I would suggest you try Creed Spring Flower EDP.

Packaging of Creed Wind Flowers

Packaging

The packaging of Wind Flowers is probably my favorite amongst all the Creed perfumes. The opulent blush pink perfume comes in a clear bottle with a frosted label and a silver bow. The shape of the bottle is different than the typical one. It complements the general vibe of the perfume_ elegant, graceful, posh, luxurious, rich

The sophisticated packaging truly looks gorgeous and very expensive and is a great addition to your perfume vanity if you’re someone who cares about aesthetics. It mimics the sight of a hefty, expensive crystal shining upon a touch of sunlight. I find the bottle extremely pretty and desirable

Final Thoughts on Creed Wind Flowers

As a generic, fruity-floral amalgam and there’s nothing unique about it, but Wind Flowers is beautiful nonetheless! It’s a sparkly, modern yet classy fragrance with excellent durability. I love strong bursts of florals but only if they’re done well and Wind Flowers does the job for you.

A floral masterpiece that is well-rounded, gentle, and nuanced, Wind Flowers exudes confidence and is sure to be a signature scent. Wind Flowers is so subtle and gentle, it touches your senses like fairy wings. This perfume has the power to olfactorily place you in the very spot Olivier Creed took his inspiration from. This is not just a floral fragrance but a smooth, sophisticated, and fine experience. I personally quite like Wind Flowers and can see myself wearing this every day.

On the other hand, the price of this perfume is not its most desirable aspect. Wind Flowers is undoubtedly very nice and dignified but not unique enough to justify its high price. However, if you can afford it and don’t mind indulging in expensive fragrances then I strongly recommend you get Wind Flowers by Creed_ sufficiently strong and elegantly feminine.
